Could you please visit a real shop to buy some small items such as sweets that cost less than £1 or 50p. Take a range of coins with you and practise counting in ones, twos and tens. Furthermore, if you have a toy till at home, practise using coins to buy different items. Have fun!
Daniel enjoyed doing this with his sister. They have a toy till at home and enjoy purchasing from one another!
Well done Daniel, a good idea playing the game with your sister.
Cruz played shops with his toys.
He bought a buzz for £2.50 and gave me the correct money
He bought a shield for 75p – with some help he worked this out
He then bought a remote control car for £3.50 using a £2 , £1 and fifty pence he was comfortable finding these.
Then he bought a fidget spinner for 30p and he found a 20p and 10p after our discussion
Lastly he bought a sword for £1.50 which he found on his own.
Good spending, Cruz!
