This week we have been learning our number bonds to 10 and 20!

For the maths activity this week, can you please look at this song and practise your number bonds. To extend this further you can compare this to 20 by looking at the ‘ones’ in the number e.g. 4+6=10 and 14+6=20.
After listening to the story ‘Jasper’s Beanstalk’, we planted our beans and will watch them grow over the upcoming weeks. We will be creating our own bean diaries.
We discussed different flowers and had a go at drawing and carefully colouring some flowers.
It was good fun learning our number bonds to 10 and 20, we played games and used a variety of objects to help us, including; cubes and Numicon.
Our role play area is now a Garden Centre where we can use our imagination to go shopping, serve customers and pretend to plant seeds.
