This week we have been looking at making 5. Here are some games you can play at home:
Set up five skittles outside and knock them down by rolling a ball. How many have fallen over? How many are left standing?
Use 5 counters/cubes/objects, how many different ways can you split them into 2 groups?
Can you use a sentence to explain, e.g. “3 and 2 make 5”
We had a wonderful time eating breakfast together on Monday morning

For our Houses and Homes topic, we designed and built houses using blocks
Mrs Bedwell is running some fun Welly Time activities for us this half term. We played some exciting games, built dinosaur nests and listened to a story at the end
We spoke about Remembrance Day and attended an whole school assembly. We created our own beautiful poppies.
Don’t forget to wear odd socks on Monday and bring in a small breakfast.
