Happy Summer Holidays!

We went outside and made patterns this week.

We decorated a large rocket and took turns to fly to the moon!

The boys did a good job with planting and tidying up.

Dear RG Boys

We are so very proud of you, all year you have worked hard and always approached new challenges with great enthusiasm and motivation. Your kindness and encouragement towards others is inspirational, you really are a fantastic team. We will miss you very much but look forward to hearing all about Year 1.

Love from,

Miss Gouldthorpe and Miss Barr x

Homework

For Literacy homework this week, could the boys please work on the next set of tricky words:

Why

Who

Any

Saw

Put

Start with making sure the boys can read the words and then use the technique of ‘look, cover and write’ to practise spelling.

For an extra challenge, the boys can choose one of the above words and write it in a sentence.

Maths

This week we have been recapping addition and subtraction. Please click on the link below and select addition, then either select ‘up to 10’ or ‘up to 25’. When working above 10, place the bigger number in your head and count on. Next, choose subtraction and when working above 10, use a number line to jump back.
