We listened to the Easter Story and ordered pictures, remembering and re-telling the key events.

Making 5, 6 and 7

Place 5 of the objects on the table. How many objects are there?

One person closes their eyes whilst the other takes some of the items and hides them behind their back.

  • How many objects are left?
  • How many are hidden in your partners hand?

Repeat with different combinations and then move on to 6 and 7 items.

Three Billy Goats Gruff

Fun outside dressing up:

We read the story of Three Billy Goats Gruff. We enjoyed making bridges out of different materials, re-writing the story and experimenting with floating and sinking. You could try the sinking and floating experiment at home!

Animals and World Book Day

We had some exciting visitors on Wednesday:

We enjoyed a story by the children’s author Mrs Thakrar, they really enjoyed the story of Fred and Ruby, you can purchase these books to read at home.
