We started off our week with a visit from Karl Hopwood who talked to us about staying safe when using technology. It’s lots of fun using computers, iPads and phones but we must know how to keep ourselves safe, one of Karl’s tips was to tell an adult if something worries you when using technology.
During Maths this week, we have been doubling numbers. We also talked about pairs of objects and had a go at counting in 2’s.
We recapped the sounds ‘sh’, ‘th’, ‘ch’ and ‘ng’ and also the letter names. We are trying to remember our digraphs when spelling words!
The story of the Jolly Postman was lots of fun, we created our own maps and characters from the story.
Remember World Book day on Thursday 7th, please can the boys come dressed in either their pyjamas or their favourite story character.
