Shine Bright

We listened to The Christmas Story on Monday and related it to our characters in the Christmas play. We then ordered some pictures from the story and tried to remember the key events.

Miss Bailey and I are so proud of all the boys in Reception, they sung beautifully, sat still, looked to the front and performed so confidently in front of their very big audience. A fantastic show, well done Pre Prep!

Goodbye and good luck to our lovely Shanindu, we hope you enjoyed your leaving party and saying goodbye to everyone is assembly. We will all miss you very much, you have been such a kind friend and a happy, cheerful member of the class. Stay in touch!

The Giving Tree is now ready to receive decorations and pledges. The boys can make a single card or decoration out of recycled material instead of giving cards to all their friends. This can be placed on the Giving Tree in return for making a Giving pledge (pledge cards went home but will also be under the tree) these can be added to their decoration. Pledges can be as creative as they wish but need to involve a gift of giving e.g. Giving Dad help with dinner, Giving the dog a lovely walk, Giving old toys to charity, Giving the fish tank a good clean etc

  1. Thank you so much for the lovely send off for Shanindu. He’s still talk about the day. We’ve been playing pass the parcel using blocks ever since we came back here.
Shanindu is enjoying his new adventure but he’s missing everyone. He did home work from the last week as well and said he wants to send it to miss Gouldthorope.

    • Lovely to hear from you. I am so pleased he is enjoying his new home. I will send an email to you so maybe you can send the homework, I would love to see it.
