This week we have been learning to estimate.
Around your home could you find a variety of objects and different sized containers and use your estimating skills and then check to see if you were correct. For example: how many oranges in the fruit bowl? How many sweets in the jar?
We did some estimating round the house with Charlie:

We went to Waitrose and estimated (to the nearest 50):
Bottles of olive oil – 100
Birthday cards on shelves – 200
Loose potatoes – 25
The first two were about right but there were more like 150 potatoes!
