Select ‘Number bonds’ (green button). Click on the first category, titled ‘Make 10’. Practise this a few times to see the number bonds to 10 you can find. Don’t forget to check on your fingers! To extend this, progress to making 20. Remember to compare bonds to 20 with bonds to 10 e.g. 4+6=10 and 6+4=10, therefore, 14+6=20 and also 16+4=20.
Another fun game is ‘Aliens pairs to 10’. Play this by clicking the link below
Charlie (and Ramble) played hit the button together and really enjoyed trying to beat their last score in the time allowed. It was really helpful for practicing number bonds to 10.
We couldn’t get the Alien pairs to work but it may just have been our computer.
I am pleased Charlie and Ramble liked the game 🙂
William enjoyed playing the math games. He loved the Aliens and worked through the number bonds to 10 (needed a bit of time to get used to some combinations) – bonds to 20 were a littler trickier for him
Great, we will continue to work on number bonds. William likes to use the number bonds rainbow to help him remember them.
