Noah’s Ark

On Monday we read the story ‘Noah’s ark’ and talked about flooding. We also talked about how different people have different beliefs, relating it to World religion day. We then had a go at writing the story of Noah’s ark in our neatest writing so we can put it on display for our drop in session. I was so impressed with all the boys writing, they are trying really hard to use their phonic knowledge to write words, remember finger spacing, capital letters and full stops. The boys made some of their own arks:

We have started sewing and have been making rain drops to go under our cotton wall clouds.

We started cooking with Mrs Curran (our new parent helper) this week. The boys are going to take turns each Monday to participate. They made cute hedgehogs by using a pear and grapes.

We had a go at using our fingers to work out the answers to some subtractions sums.
