Welcome Back!

To start our new topic ‘Weather’ we read the story ‘The wind blew’ and had a go at writing about the story and making our own version. We looked at the different verbs in the story and tried to use them in our writing. We also made kites that we will fly in the wind next week.

Our role play area is now a Weather station where the boys can find out about weather and pretend to be a weatherman.

In maths this week we looked at addition using various methods such as counting on our fingers and multi-link. Next week we will be looking at subtraction.

Our core value focus this half term is: be kind and respect the rights of others. The boys have been thinking about the different ways we can be kind and respect each other.

We were all very happy to see snow on Friday, it fitted in well with our weather topic! The boys had some fun outside, exploring the ice and snow.
