Happy Easter

We have come to the end of another term and it has flown by. We have been incredibly busy over our final two weeks of this term.

Here are some of the things we have been up to :

We have been learning all about vehicles this term and have thoroughly enjoyed learning all about different forms of transport. We were able to go and look at the engines of one of the school buses and Mr Hoy told us how they work . We also got to get inside the school bus and sit in the drivers seat. It was fun to pretend we were driving, we even pressed the horn.

Bike Day!!!

The boys had a great time riding their bikes and scooters around the middle playground . We discussed being safe and how to look after each other to avoid accidents.  A great day was had by all ( even if their legs did get a bit tired ).

Easter egg hunt:

Thanks to the lovely PTA ( and Easter Emmett ) for an amazing Easter egg hunt. The boys were able to find all the clues in order to spell out  the secret code word ‘chocolate’. It was lovely to watch the Reception boys work as a team with the older boys to find the clues and celebrate together.

In some more exciting news, we have a celebrity in Reception Ash…. Mr Oscar Cowie! As some of you may be aware, Oscar was on Good Morning Britain yesterday morning as part of the weather forecast. Oscar was even interviewed by Laura Tobin the presenter. We all loved watching his TV debut as a class !

Can I just take this time to say thank you for all your help and support this term, the boys have made so much progress and it is wonderful to watch them grow every day.

I do hope you all have a restful and wonderful Easter break and I look forward to another wonderful term together.

Best wishes,

Miss Colhoun
